Mountain Mama Java mobile coffee bar was conceived a few years ago and will be visiting an event near you soon.

From conception, it was important to have the right trailer, so a 1967 Stidham two horse trailer was converted and outfitted with a La Marzocco Group Three Espresso Machine, custom built interior and exterior riding on vintage style bias-ply tires and capped off with NOS 1962 Oldsmobile hubcaps. 

The proprietor and host is the Mama of the Mountain Myshel Portz. Everyone on the mountain and beyond either knows Myshel or was at some time in their lives served by Myshel during her long career in the service industry. She is the former bartender at the famous Alice’s restaurant where she organized special local artist events and Friday evening music. Assisting Mountain Mama is her boyfriend Freddy, her sister Maria, her daughter Sara and son Tristan.
